Experience and Practicality

Derek Webb MBE established TransProjects Limited in 2002 as an independent consulting organisation, primarily acting as a source of external Project Management expertise to assist clients working on critical performance major infrastructure projects.

Successful delivery of programmes and projects is our primary business. We provide the management skills, professionalism and experience to ensure success, even in the most difficult of circumstances.

Derek has a military engineering background which, combined with extensive project delivery for major consultancies, provides him with the ability to empathise with clients and discuss projects in their own terms. He has worked on projects for public, private and charitable organisations using a wide range of funding mechanisms including PFI, World Bank and european funds.

The second area of expertise is assisting companies with Business Continuity and Crisis Management and has worked with banks, multimedia, food, and automotive industries. Crisis management expertise includes working with the Royal Engineers in Mexico City and northern Columbia following seismic activity and emergency planning for the seven counties of South West England.

Derek is a member of the Association of Project Management, Business Continuity Institute and Institute of Directors.
